Allison leads Marketing and Investor Relations for TWVP. Prior to joining TWVP, she has worked in Investor Relations for Thomas Weisel Partners, managing the Investor Relations function for five TWP private equity funds, including Thomas Weisel Venture Partners. Prior to her work in private equity, Allison spent several years as the Director of Recruiting for Thomas Weisel Partners, where she was responsible for growing the firm to over 800 employees. She joined Thomas Weisel Partners in 1999 as an early employee. Prior to TWP, Allison worked as the Recruiting Manager for Booz Allen & Hamilton, a management consulting firm in San Francisco. While at Booz Allen & Hamilton, she was responsible for all west coast hiring. Previously, Allison worked as a teacher in elementary education in the Bay Area for five years.
Allison received her BA in Sociology and Business from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is an active member of the NVCA’s Strategic Communications group, an organization of professional Marketing, Communications and Investor Relations colleagues associated with venture capital funds.
